Deleting your data
Email privacy@dialedcontractor.com from the address you want deleted, or name that address in the message.
We delete everything associated with it within 30 days and email you when it is done.
You do not need to give a reason. We will not ask for one, and we will not send you a retention offer.
Want to remove less than everything?
Two smaller options, both instant, no email required.
Unpublish a comment. Go to your account, change any review to Counted. The published comment comes down. Your status still counts toward the numbers.
Leave the panel, keep the newsletter. Delete your stack from your account. Your email stays subscribed.
What full deletion removes
- Your member account: name, company, email, trade, revenue band, and everything else you entered
- Your entire registered stack and every tool in it
- Every quarterly confirmation you have ever submitted
- Every comment you have written, published or not
- Your funding contribution history, subject to the tax exception below
- Any nomination, tip, question, or pitch you submitted
- Any correspondence you sent us
What remains
Three narrow exceptions, stated so you know exactly what is left.
Aggregate numbers, with your identity removed. Retention figures are computed from historical status confirmations. When you delete your account, your identity is removed from those records permanently, but the underlying counts stay accurate. Nothing that remains can be traced back to you or your business, and your data is excluded from all future figures.
Payment records, for seven years. If you funded the work, tax law requires we keep the transaction record. Amount and date only. This does not include anything about your business or your stack.
Records we are legally required to retain. Rare, and we will tell you specifically if any apply to you.
Everything else is gone.
What software vendors get
Nothing, ever. No company we cover receives member identities, contact details, individual stacks, or nomination sources, at any point, for any reason, whether or not you delete your account.
If you found us through Facebook or Instagram
We do not offer social login and we do not request data from Meta about you. If you arrived through an ad or a link, we hold nothing about you beyond what you typed into a form here.
To remove data Meta holds about you, use Meta's own settings. We cannot do that on your behalf.
Other requests
The same address handles requests to access, correct, or export your data. We honor these regardless of where you live, not only where the law requires it.
